Beware of Cardio Slackers

Hey, 
 
Here's a simple observation I made while performing my 
morining cardio session on Tuesday. 
 
I was climbing away on the stair climber with my ipod 
blasting, while watching hockey highlights on sports 
centre. 
I got about half way through the work-out and my hands were 
starting to slip and slide on the handles and the console 
of the machine was pretty well soaked as was my t-shirt. 
 
Now I know you're thinking, "this is disgusting, why is he 
telling me this?" 
 
When I was finished and was wiping down the machine with 
sanitizer, it struck me that I don't see too many people 
finishing off their cardio with a soaking wet t-shirt. Of 
course there are a few names that came to mind that do 
sweat it up,and it's no suprise that those are the men and 
women that get the most out of their work-outs. 
 
Are you a cardio slacker? 
 
Are you going through the motions and wasting time? 
 
Try this protocol: 
(use any cardio machine of your choice) 
-1 minute warm-up 
-15 minutes total duration 
-On the last 15 seconds of each minute, go as hard as you 
can. Whether it be maximum speed, resistance or both 
-2 minute cool down 
 
Maybe it's time you started work a little harder on the 
treadmill and soak that t-shirt.  
 
Just make sure you clean up after yourself.
