Last week I gave you 5 good reasons why getting stronger 
will improve your life.  
 
I'm so excited about getting you stronger that I'm going to 
give you 5 more good reasons, and I'm going to tell you how 
Ultimate Fitness can help you get there. 
 
6) Less body fat; lifting weights to get stronger is a 
great way to limit the fat gain that occurs as we get 
older. The training session itself burns a huge amount of 
calories, in addition to the extra 50 to 100 calories you 
will burn everyday, for every extra pound of lean tissue 
you have. 
 
7) Healthier Joints; Do your knees and shoulders give you 
problems? Get them moving. Proper use of the joints, 
through a full range of motion will make them feel much 
better. I always stand by the old saying, "if you don't 
use them, you lose them". 
 
8) Pain reduction; being too sedentary (inactive) will 
cause many aches and pains. Sitting all day will make you 
feel lousy at any age. 
 
9) Better Bone Density; Studies have shown that loading the 
bones with healthy stress loads, such as weight training, 
leads to stronger bones. Walking just isn't enough. You 
need to lift something heavy. 
 
10) Reduce arthritic symptoms; Many trainees have found 
that when they participate in a regular weight training 
program, their arthritic symptoms are greatly reduced.
